A sanctuary for the arts in Devon
Wednesday - Sunday | 10 am - Sunset
In 2023 the park will be open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am until sunset.
Lose yourself in an ancient woodland forest where art & nature coexist, evolving in symbiosis.
The sculpture exhibition has been active for over 25 years and currently showcases more than 150 pieces throughout the gardens.
As a gallery, we seek and support the contemporary artist: celebrating both the traditional and modern crafts, engineering and thinking.

Putting the art into artisan
In 2023 Broomhill Dining is offering a choice of 2 menus serving an evolving menu of seasonal produce, inspired by nature. Both menus feature locally sourced food and ingredients from our farm in the grounds of the estate.
The 3 course set menu has broad appeal and offers a meat, vegetarian and fish option for each chapter. The tasting menu is a colourful canvas for foodies to linger over an extended version of our menu with 7 chapters.
- 3 course set menu for £45
- 7 course signature menu for £70
Tables will be available Wednesday – Saturday from 6-8pm.

Unwind, switch off and recoup
Each of the seven boutique bedrooms has its own unique personality and ambiance inspired by arthouse and cult films including:
Velvet Goldmine, Lost in Translation, Moonrise Kingdom, Betty Blue, Amelie, Clockwork Orange & Grey Gardens.
The rooms are set in a 1913 property, which is south facing with gloriously high ceilings. The property was refurbished in July 2021 and also now features a treatment room for ultimate relaxation.
Broomhill also offers wild camping for campervans and recreational vehicles. We have 6 spaces which are all bookable throughout the year.
The hotel also boasts a 30 seater restaurant and a number of immersive bars and lounges inspired by the arts. The cinema room features authentic Hollywood props from films such as: Highlander, Alien v Predator, Jumanji, Fight Club and more.

Max’s final camp out festival
Max (the boy in the tent) has selected Broomhill Estate for his final camp out in support of North Devon Hospice.
We are plotting an epic camp out in the sculpture gardens but this time, we don’t want Max to do it alone, you are all invited to join the festivities and even to camp out with him one last time, in the South West’s sanctuary for the arts at Broomhill Estate in Devon.
This epic camp out has turned into a celebratory festival with music, art, theatre, film and more. It will be a way for you to show your support for Max and for the community to celebrate his incredible achievements.
The main stage is sponsored by Frictionless Music with live music all day.
Wednesday - Sunday | 10 am - Sunset
A collaborative exhibition with the Royal Society of Sculptors, featuring some of the UK’s leading sculptors.
This sculpture exhibition is set within our ancient woodlands and water gardens, nestled in the North Devon Biosphere. Each artwork has a bespoke planting scheme which embodies the ethos of our gardens ‘Function in Form’, complementing the artwork and supporting the natural habitats.
Tune in to a synopsis of each artwork via the audio tour.
BE | Inspired
The arts programme at Broomhill Estate is founded on three core principals:
1. To actively support and fund a community of distinctive and diligent artists.
2. To contribute to the conservation and rejuvenation of the natural environment.
3. To provide a space for people to be inspired and to develop creative skills.
With the commerce of art and leisure, the project can continue to deliver activities to sustain the three core principals.
